The Opportunity
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all information about sports, concert, and theater events is accurate and up-to-date on our website and internal systems. Your responsibilities will include researching and verifying event details, standardizing event names and attributes, and coordinating with marketing managers to enhance our ticket sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and manage critical details (date, time, location, venue configuration, etc.) for a high volume of live events in the sports and entertainment industry.
• Standardize event information to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Accurately link seller listings to the correct venue seating and map information.
• Continuously audit event and venue information to maintain accuracy on the website.
• Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Participate in large data gathering and analysis projects related to event information.
Progression in the Role
First 30 Days
• Complete new hire training and get acquainted with team structure and company culture.
• Learn about the ticket marketplace industry and your role in enhancing stakeholder experiences.
• Familiarize yourself with department protocols for event creation and updates.
• Understand the department’s long-term goals and how your work impacts other teams.
First 60 Days
• Begin executing tasks independently that positively contribute to the team.
• Continue developing your skills and knowledge to advance team goals.
• Become more comfortable with higher-level tasks and processes related to issue escalation.
• Grow into a more independent worker with strong multitasking abilities.
First 90 Days
• Contribute to refining our methods and technologies to support overall business goals.
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships to drive progress.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the entire event mapping process, including creation, support, and collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in business analysis, finance, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyze industry trends.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A strong interest in sports, entertainment events, performers, teams, and venues.
Work Schedule
• Training: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM for the first three weeks. Training is conducted in-person and is paid.
• Regular Hours: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM. Days off vary by week:
• Sunday/Monday off
• Tuesday/Saturday off
• Thursday/Saturday off
• Friday/Sunday off
• After training, the role will transition to a hybrid model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
Compensation
• $40,000 annually
• Bi-annual bonuses
