JOB DESCRIPTION

ISG, Nectar.inc is looking to hire a Physician Assistant Placement Specialist The Physician Assistant Placement Specialist is one of the primary contacts for clinical placements and serves as the liaison with partnering institutions, organizations, agencies, private practices, and individuals with whom students will have clinical experiences

This job will involve identifying and contacting new placement settings, and appropriate preceptors for students. The Physician Assistant Placement Specialist will rearrange all aspects of the clinical experience including negotiating the need for new contracts with potential clinical agencies and/or preceptors and assuring compliance with contractual agreements.

Responsibilities include:
• Cold-calling partners or other stakeholders
• Interact with clinical agencies to plan for and schedule student group clinical or individual preceptor rotations.
• Communicate with students to set clear expectations for the placement process and to provide updates throughout the process.
• Understand placement guidelines/policies and be able to support students in adhering to the policies.
• Assist students with navigating the requirements needed to be cleared for placement.
• Exhibit professional conduct through all interactions as a representative of the company and the department.
• Work in a student relations management system and onboarding platforms.
• Ensures student success through on-time placement and matching with healthcare facilities.
• Researches new potential sites for students to complete their healthcare clinical rotations.
• Achieves Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to student placement.
• Maintains an updated database of healthcare facilities in multiple online systems while maintaining confidentiality.
• Documents and tracks clinical rotation assignments.
• Adheres to company and university partners’ data privacy policies

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution (required)
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of medical processes.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with clinical placement/scheduling.
• Experience working in higher education.
