Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Provide personalized instruction and support to students with disabilities, adapting teaching methods to achieve individual learning goals.
• Assess student progress, adjust curriculum materials, and apply behavior management techniques to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Active Special Education State Teaching License.
• Experience or endorsements in teaching specific student groups (e.g., K-12, Mild-Moderate, Severe Autism) is desirable.
• For virtual positions, a State License, 2 years of school experience, and an education certificate may be required.
