And through valued customer feedback, optimized partnerships, and innovative sales strategies, Sales continues to be the largest revenue-generating department at United.
Key Responsibilities:
The Account Manager – Inside Sales remotely handles a large portfolio of small to mid-sized corporate accounts. Their primary focus is to increase revenue, share and enhance program profitability through analysis, contract development and account management. They demonstrate understanding of the customers travel patterns, key doer priorities and travel management practices. They apply consultative selling and sales marketing practices and tools to enhance United’s position within a portfolio of accounts.
Portfolio maximization and opportunity analysis: develops, negotiates, implements and measures results for sales strategies and supporting tactics that drive revenue and share growth for assigned accounts. Improves share premium growth and ROI by implementing pricing and Mileage Plus incentives and using OBT display tactics in highly competitive markets and most lucrative revenue streams.
Carefully monitors performance data and ensures that action is taken to quickly address opportunities and threats.
Account management, business planning, and administration: engages in day-to-day account management responsibilities, including resolution of service issues, gathering competitive intelligence, account planning, monthly/quarterly reviews, performance reporting, budgeting, and preparing client-facing presentation materials.
Portfolio management: Grow portfolio results by applying segmented strategies that are supported by sales marketing practices to engage accounts at scale.
This is a remote role, with the potential to travel up to 10% of the time to attend quarterly meetings.

Qualifications
Whats needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of sales experience
General understanding of sales
Demonstrated general business acumen and financial proficiency
Proficiency in key business computer applications (ex. MS Office)
Communication and analytical ability
Bold, energetic, results oriented
Ability to cultivate business partnerships
Ability and willingness to relocate
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
MBA or other advanced degree
CTE, GLP, or other certification
Selling experience and/or basic knowledge of the airline/travel industry
Salesforce/CRM system experience
Experience or knowledge in Finance, Network Planning, Revenue Management, Marketing, Loyalty, and Alliances
The salary for this position is $57,450 to $84,260, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: yes.
