Responsibilities
As an Agency Recruiter with State Farm, your primary responsibility will involve identifying and attracting high-performing entrepreneurs to join the organization as an Independently Contracted Insurance Agent. An Agency Recruiter implements focused and intentional sourcing strategies using multiple techniques with sales leaders, other recruiters, and agency opportunity specialists. Helps to ensure there is a diverse pool of high-quality, qualified candidates who are ready to interview for all First Time Agent openings in an appropriate timeframe to meet training start dates. An ideal candidate revels in a fast-paced team environment and knowing their work enables downstream success and gets satisfaction from helping people realize their dreams of becoming a small business owner.
• To attract top talent, develops and post job advertisements on various platforms, such as job boards, company websites, and social media. Ensures that job descriptions are accurate, engaging, and attract the desired candidates.
• Ensuring the delivery of qualified candidates, actively searches for potential candidates through various channels, including online job portals, resume databases, professional networking sites, and industry -specific platforms. Also leverages direct sourcing methods, such as attending job fairs, developing Centers of Influence relationships, employee, and agent referrals.
• Assesses candidate qualifications and alignment for the position by reviewing resumes, profiles and applications. To evaluate candidate suitability, conducts phone screens and discovery conversations. Uses judgment and knowledge to shortlist candidates for further consideration.
• Builds and maintains relationships with candidates, field leadership, and other stakeholders. Provides guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, address candidate inquiries, manage expectations, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Proactive in personal development and continuously learns as things evolve, ensuring staying relevant in knowledge of technology and the agency opportunity.
