Job Description:
Apple is seeking a talented and driven Data Scientist to join our Video Planning team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects involving cutting-edge machine learning techniques. As part of our team, you will help solve complex problems that can impact users globally.
You will work closely with our Data Scientists and cross-functional teams (including AI and Cloud Infrastructure) to process and analyze large datasets, create machine learning models, and ensure the highest quality delivery of our solutions. Your efforts will contribute to the development of advanced systems that enhance user experience across Apples product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply computational modeling techniques to solve real-world problems.
Conduct in-depth data analysis and model mining to extract valuable insights.
Design and implement machine learning models for various applications, focusing on real-time data processing and predictive analysis.
Present complex data findings and insights to senior leaders and other stakeholders across different teams.
Use statistical analysis and data mining to drive critical business insights for Apples products and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI, cloud infrastructure, and product development, to improve system performance.
Build mathematical models to forecast outcomes and inform key business decisions.
Provide quantitative analysis of real customer feedback to guide future product development.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience with programming, data analysis, and machine learning techniques.
Strong proficiency in data manipulation, modeling, and visualization tools.
Experience working with large datasets and applying advanced statistical methods.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with video and image analysis, especially in AR/VR contexts.
Understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure.
Familiarity with data engineering and automation tools.
