Job Description
Southwest Airlines is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our dynamic team remotely. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of the airlines various business units. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications are robust, scalable, and secure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in software development
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js)
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
