What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Generate accurate and timely invoices for multiple contract projects with government clients
– Review and analyze contract agreements, bill codes, cost variables, and other documentation
– Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and address client inquiries
– Maintain detailed records of billing activities using designated accounting software
– Monitor and reconcile billing reports to identify discrepancies and errors
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or financial analysis
– Familiarity with government contract billing processes and compliance requirements
– Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint 8 and Microsoft Office Suite
– Strong analytical and communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience within a federal contracting firm or similar industry
– Knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations
– Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently
