The Business Planning Advisor role at FedEx involves leading and executing quantitative analysis of operations, major company projects, and proposals. Responsibilities
• Leads and executes quantitative analysis of operations, major company projects, and proposals.

• Analyzes financial and operating data to measure, analyze, and project profit-and-loss, return-on-investment, cash flow, capital justifications, risks, and benefits.

• Provides feasibility and business impact assessments, ensuring a focus on corporate impact.

• Develops and executes presentations to executive and senior management.
,
• Develops and maintains planning measurement systems, linking results to objectives and plans.
,
• Develops business planning models for forecasting the impact of alternative courses of action.
,
• Executes planning models in support of strategic mid-range and long-term forecasting and annual business planning.

• Provides ongoing support in the business planning process, employing appropriate methods and tools.

• Provides regular reports to departmental and divisional management on projects and programs.

• Develops statistical reports and provides technical and operational information to support financial analysis and business case development.

• Analyzes market, operating, and financial data to develop recommendations and improve performance.

• Evaluates new business opportunities and conducts competitive analysis.

• Provides quantitative and qualitative analysis of industry, customer, and competitor situations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in a quantitative business degree, finance, marketing analysis, computer science/information systems, or related quantitative discipline.

• Five (5) years of experience in finance, marketing, business planning, engineering planning, information systems consulting, project management, or similar quantitative business analysis.

• Knowledge of micro/macroeconomics, financial and strategic marketing theories, industrial engineering/planning theory, and project management best practices.

• Strong quantitative/data analysis skills, business planning/analysis, and information systems development skills.
