Key Responsibilities
• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored for online learning environments.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices and ensure that all students receive the support they need.
• Conduct online assessments to evaluate student progress using digital tools and adapt teaching strategies to meet each student’s unique needs.
• Engage with parents, colleagues, and administrators through video conferencing and other digital platforms to maintain open lines of communication.
• Manage accurate and organized digital records of student progress, IEPs, and other documentation.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid Wyoming teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience in online or distance learning environments.
• Strong digital literacy and proficiency with educational technology platforms.
• Excellent virtual communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability in a remote teaching setting.
