Continuous Improvement Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Regional Continuous Improvement team and play an influential leadership role. In this role, you’ll provide expertise and coaching utilizing your continuous improvement skills. This ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the CPG and food manufacturing/processing industry. Must have a continuous improvement… approach to his/her work. Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time.

Location: Commutable to Pasco, WA

What You Will Do:
• Define problems, identify gaps in performance, gather supporting data, design solutions, implement improvements, measure results, and sustain results
• Challenge existing processes in place and use data to communicate opportunities that exist
• Develop a pipeline of FI plans and execute them to resolve inefficiencies to drive cost savings
• Manage both capital and process improvement projects to ensure results are met within budgeted time and cost
• Working with cross-functional teams to evaluate probable financial and operational impact regarding process improvement opportunities
• Increase efficiency while minimizing cost and maximizing resource utilization through lean and continuous improvement methodologies

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree: Engineering, Business, Food Science, Operations
• 5+ Years of Operations experience with progressive levels of responsibility
• 5+ years of Lean Continuous Improvement (IWS, TPM) experience
• Will be on-site at various plants 80% of the time (the other 20% of the time will be remote)
• Preferably live in the Tri-Cities, WA area

Nice to Have:
• Ability to travel 80% (mostly regional; Tri-Cities, WA and surrounding areas)
• Project Management (PMP)
• Lean Black Belt Six Sigma
• Kaizen Facilitator (LSSI or equivalent)
