Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and hardworking cashier/clerk to join our convenience store and restaurant team. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent service, smooth operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay on task, and assist with both the store and restaurant sides of the business as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
• Handle all transactions efficiently, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or take orders.
• Assist with restaurant duties during busy times, including running orders and packaging food.
• Stock and organize shelves to ensure products are always available and neatly arranged.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restaurant, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
• Monitor inventory levels and report when stock is low.
• Follow store policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
• Handle any other tasks typical of a convenience store clerk.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is a plus but not required.
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with stocking, merchandising, and retail sales processes
