Crossing Agreement Coordinator
$55 – $57.50 an hour…
NextEra Energy is seeking a skilled Utility Crossing Coordinator to join our team for new transmission line and renewable projects.
• This role requires extensive experience in utility crossing agreements, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple consultants including surveyors, land agents, developers, other utility owners, title companies, legal counsel, and construction personnel.
• The Utility Crossing Coordinator will be responsible for managing utility crossing agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, securing necessary permits, tracking agreement status to support executed agreements prior to construction start, managing document control to support accurate reporting, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project alignment.
Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in utility crossing coordination or project management within the transmission line and/or renewable sector. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required, with PMP certification preferred. Strong organizational skills, familiarity with project management tools, and excellent communication abilities are essential
