Job Description
As a Customer Service Representative at American Express, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers. Your role is vital in delivering high-quality service, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Youll handle inquiries through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat.
In this remote position, youll be equipped with state-of-the-art tools and resources to assist customers effectively. Youll need to embrace a customer-centric mindset, as our goal is to exceed customer expectations while maintaining the integrity and values of American Express.
Your daily tasks will include answering customer inquiries, providing product information, troubleshooting account issues, and processing transactions. You will also document issues and resolutions in our customer relationship management system, ensuring that all customer interactions are accurately recorded.

Requirements
1. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

6. High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
7. Previous customer service experience is a plus
Responsibilities
1. Answer incoming customer inquiries promptly and professionally
2. Resolve customer issues by identifying the root cause and providing effective solutions
3. Process transactions and handle account updates accurately
4. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in our CRM system
5. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
6. Participate in ongoing training sessions and implement learnings into daily practices
7. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement
