We are working with a large employer in the Chattanooga area to place 3 Data Entry Clerks into a 1 year contract opportunity. In this role, you will be handling customer inquiries, processing applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. Please note, this is a remote opportunity but candidate are required to live within 45 minutes of downtown Chattanooga.
Responsibilities…
• Efficiently process customer applications and ensure accuracy.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide relevant information.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain expected performance levels.
• Utilize strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues.
• Operate basic Microsoft Office and Email systems effectively.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Display strong interpersonal skills and maintain a positive teamwork ethic.
• Exhibit attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities.
• Adapt to a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a data entry role or similar position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications
• Proven ability to perform scanning and typing tasks with accuracy
• Experience in email correspondence, with good written communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in data entry, with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Knowledge of the insurance industry would be advantageous
