What Do You Need To Know:
Delta Is Looking For An English-Speaking And Bilingual Flight Attendant To Join The Flight Services Team. Once The Application Is Complete, Bilingual Applicants Have The Option To Apply As A Bilingual Flight Attendant, Also Known As A Language Of Destination (LOD). To Be Eligible For The Bilingual Flight Attendant Opportunity, You Must Be Proficient In English And Another Language. As Our Flights Operate Day, Night, And All Year Round, Cabin Crew Must Be Flexible With Their Hours. Shifts Include Nights, Weekends, Holidays, And Extended Hours As Needed. New Hires Must Successfully Complete Seven Weeks Of Training At Our World Headquarters In Atlanta, GA. During This Time, Participants Receive A Stipend For Training And Some Food, As Well As Lodging For Those Who Do Not Live Within 25 Miles Of The Training Facility. After Completing Training, Flight Attendants Report To Their Home Base To Join Their More Than 25,000 Colleagues On In-Flight Duty. We Operate From 14 Bases In The United States, Including Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Orlando, Minneapolis, New York, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco And Salt Lake City. Main Responsibilities:
• Provide Exceptional Customer Service At An Altitude Of At Least 8,000 Feet
• Assist Customers In Lifting And Placing Luggage In Overhead Bins
• Demonstrate Use Of Safety And Emergency Equipment And Ensure Safety Requirements Are Met
• Preparation, Serving And Sale Of Beverages (Including Alcohol) And Food (Containing Beef, Pork, Seafood, Peanuts, Etc.)
• Answer Questions And Assist Customers As Needed, Especially Those With Unique Needs And Circumstances
• Proactively Seek To Ensure The Safety And Comfort Of Customers When The Aircraft Experiences Delays Or Turbulence
• Lead And Coordinate Emergency Procedures Or Provide Emergency Care As Needed (e.g., Perform CPR And Basic First Aid).
• Respond And Give Clear And Precise Instructions (Verbal And/Or Non-Verbal) To Customers In The Event Of An Emergency
• Make Resolution Decisions By Delta Policies, Procedures And Standards
• Work Independently And As Part Of A Team To Complete Work Tasks

What Do You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualification)
• Skilled US Work
• At Least 21 Years At The Time Of The Application
• There Is A Diploma Or Ged In High School
• The Ability To Speak, Read, Write And Understand English
• The Ability To Get Now And Continuing Is Passport And Travel Documents To Ask For Entry In Delta. The First Day Of Training Must Be A Valid Passport With At Least 30 Months Of Validity.
