Role Overview:
The Director, Digital Retail will be responsible for driving and growing Amazon and other digital retail partner sites, delivery apps, and emerging channels. This role will work closely with Liquid Deaths marketing partners to execute advertising campaigns to maximize revenue generation on digital platforms as well to grow current and develop future potential revenue streams. Reporting to and assisted by a Digital Retail Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to meet aggressive revenue and growth goals on Amazon, Omni and other .com retailers
Implementation of the price package plan management across all digital retailers
Forecasting and inventory management with all key digital retailers
Leveraging brick and mortar pricing activity to drive velocity with key digital retailers who price match while staying within trade spend
Manage end to end P&L that align to Liquid Deaths annual business plan
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the management of product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory to maximize sales performance
Work with internal team to monitor and optimize digital retail advertising campaigns to achieve ROI goals
Ensure compliance with Amazons and other digital retailers policies and guidelines to maintain a healthy seller account
Analytics and Reporting:
Leverage data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions
Regularly present key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights to senior leadership
Understand gaps and opportunities to plan and how to close them in real time
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, supply chain, product development, and finance teams to align digital retail strategies with company goals
Partner with digital retailer representatives and partners to address challenges and capitalize on new opportunities
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
A minimum of 8+ years of relatable e-commerce experience and a minimum of 5+ years experience managing Amazon (preferably via Vendor Central and Seller Central) and other retail partners (Walmart, Target, eBay, Facebook marketplace and other digital channel, Thrive Market, Go Puff) required
Previous experience in CPG and/or in the beverage industry preferred
Understanding of ad formats across digital retail partners (Citrus Ads, Criteo, Amazon Sponsored products, Amazon DSP, CTV, etc)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on results and continuous improvement
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms
Exceptional communication skills and presentation capability
Knowledge of, and experience using content syndication partners (Syndigo, Salsify)
Knowledge of, and experience using channel management solutions like Channel Advisor
Willingness to travel up to up to 25% (domestic travel) required
The typical salary range for this position is: $145,000 – $199,000
