• As the Director of User Research, you’ll be passionate about creating a deep understanding and empathy for our users
• You’ll conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies to inform product development and design decisions
• Drive prioritization of research efforts in support of broader organizational goals
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented user researchers
• Be a highly respected senior partner and thought leader across departments
• Champion and drive high-quality user experiences across Workiva’s ecosystem
Requirements:
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience delivering high-quality research results
• 5+ years’ experience in building and coaching teams for high-impact results
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Portfolio/Strong case studies demonstrating measurable business impacts
• Master’s degree in a related degree field preferred
• Demonstrated experience in scaling highly functioning user research teams
• Experience in driving operational excellence for efficiency and effectiveness
• Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Proven experience in user research, preferably in the B2B SaaS industry
• Ability to influence others, tying insights to business impact
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• Expert knowledge of user research best practices and methodologies
