Responsibilities
• Maintain meticulous case filing systems for easy document access.
• Serve as the primary contact for probate and trust administration files.
• Draft legal documents, correspondence, forms, and pleadings under attorney supervision.
• Communicate effectively with clients and other parties involved in matters.
• Accurately track time and maintain an updated case status spreadsheet.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development.
• Assist with various legal matters as needed.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional writing and grammar abilities.
• At least 3 years of legal services experience, including at least 1 year in North Carolina probate/estate administration.
