Aspen University has an opening for an Field Experience Coordinator. This position is remote!
The Office of Field Experience is a unique department designed to assist students with their field placement experiences (MSN practicums, DNP immersions, Public Health internships), documentation verification, organization, preparation, management, and compliance. The Field Experience Coordinator is dedicated to supporting students by developing and implementing plans for clinical placements by reviewing program and student clinical site requests, facilitating document collection and approvals, and identifying available site mentors/preceptors. The Coordinator proactively communicates with students to ensure understanding and timely completion of… required documentation and approvals and assists students throughout their program to keep the requirements and approvals current.
Major/Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:
• Proactively partner with MSN, MPH, and DNP students to identify appropriate field placements for their practicums, internships, or immersions, respectively.
• Counsel students on expectations and requirements of their field experiences, guiding them to appropriate resources.
• Outreach to clinical sites and mentors/preceptors that have been identified by student, School administration, or market research.
• Process articulation agreements and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails from students and site contacts.
• Monitor and ensure all site mentors/preceptors have submitted required documents and have access to required systems.
• Maintain consistent files, notes, history, and documentation in required university systems.
• Manage and track clinical compliance and support the compliance audit process.
• Provide administrative support by improving and implementing systems, procedures, and policies; complete projects in support of OFE efforts.
• Complete other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
• Must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• Preferred experience in education administration/compliance or health care administration or compliance.
• Exceptional consumer service and computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think strategically and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a high level of professional integrity.
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
• Preferred familiarity with Microsoft Office and/or Google Office Suites, Learning Management
• System, and compliance technology systems.

Remote Work Requirements
This job is fully remote. Employees must have a designated, private, quiet workspace. Remote employees are expected to be on camera for meetings and training sessions. Employees are responsible for abiding by all FERPA privacy laws within their home-work environment. While employees will have some flexibility to work with their manager and determine their schedules, all work must be completed during standard workweek hours; employees are not permitted to work evenings or weekends as a standard schedule.
Work Environment
The essential functions of the job are usually performed in an environmentally controlled facility where the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position may involve working in a combination of office and classroom environments. While performing the job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may sometimes be required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
