Schneider National, Inc. is looking for a dedicated and responsible Hazmat Tanker Truck Driver to join our team. We are one of the largest transportation and logistics companies in North America and take pride in our commitment to safety, integrity, respect, and excellence in all we do.
Job Description:
The Hazmat Tanker Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck, loading and unloading cargo, and complying with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities:
– Loading and unloading hazardous materials.
– Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely.
– Interacting professionally with customers, employers, and traffic control authorities.
– Reporting any incidents, accidents, or delivery failures.
– Ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws regarding the transportation of hazardous materials.
Requirements:
– Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL driver with a clean driving record.
– Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
– Physical fitness and strength to load and unload cargo.
– Excellent understanding of road safety and driving laws.
Educational Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent.
– CDL Driving School Certification is a plus.
