Responsibilities…
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and school staff.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best educational outcomes for students.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.
• Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve academic and personal goals.
Requirements:
• A valid Missouri teaching license in Special Education.
• Relevant state and local certifications as required by the school district.
• Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
