Company Overview: At studio pappaterra, we are dedicated to crafting richly botanical, sustainable, and firewise landscapes in Southern California (with current projects in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties). Founded by Elisa Read Pappaterra, an internationally recognized and award-winning licensed landscape architect and sustainable fire-wise design advocate, our work embodies a holistic approach—considering every component of a site, from natural to cultural (“from soil to soul”)—to create landscapes that are both artistically beautiful and environmentally responsible.

As a full-service landscape design firm, we explore symbiotic connections within the Wild-Urban Interface (WUI), collaborating closely with clients and consultants to deliver unique, site-specific projects that enhance the value and experience for all users.
