Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to providing quality care to individuals facing various challenges. This role requires a professional who can effectively engage with clients, conduct assessments, and develop tailored treatment plans to support their mental health and well-being. We will also accept inquiries from Master’s Degree level candidates working towards state licensure (we offer supervision that can be put towards licensure for LCSW and LPC associates).
Duties
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Provide crisis intervention services to clients in urgent situations.
Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge to collaborate with medical professionals regarding medication management.
Engage in addiction counseling for clients struggling with substance use disorders.
Apply applied behavior analysis techniques to modify maladaptive behaviors.
Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness.
Address gender issues counseling as part of a holistic approach to therapy.
Work with individuals with disabilities, ensuring accessibility and tailored support.
Conduct research to stay updated on best practices within the field of therapy.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required.
Licensure or certification as a Therapist in accordance with state regulations is preferred.
Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and therapeutic techniques.
Experience in crisis intervention and working with diverse populations is highly desirable.
Familiarity with psychopharmacology, addiction counseling, and applied behavior analysis will be considered an asset.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective client interaction.
