Key Responsibilities:
• Develop engaging lessons for students with diverse English proficiency levels.
• Incorporate proven methods to teach core language skillslistening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Collaborate with other educators to align language learning with subject-specific goals.
• Use data to monitor student performance and tailor instruction to meet evolving needs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that values multilingualism and partners with families to support learning outside the classroom.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Bachelors degree in Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field
• Valid New… Hampshireteaching license with an endorsement in ESL/ELL (or equivalent)
• Experience working with multilingual learners or culturally diverse populations
• Preferred:
• Masters degree in TESOL, Education, or a related area
• Proficiency in a second language
• Familiarity with WIDA standards and assessments
• Experience with differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices
