Responsibilities:
Understand project requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Execute manual test cases and document test results for web and mobile applications.
Conduct functional, regression, system, and UI testing to validate software functionality.
Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA, HP ALM, or other test management tools.
Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support business users during the testing phase.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
Ensure compliance with banking/insurance domain standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide detailed test reports, summaries, and risk assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
? Experience: 3-8 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
? Domain Expertise: Experience in banking or insurance is highly preferred.
? Test Documentation: Ability to write clear and concise test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
? Test Management Tools: Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or similar tools.
? Defect Management: Strong experience in tracking and managing software defects.
? Testing Types: Proficiency in functional, regression, UAT, API, and UI testing.
? SQL & Database Testing: Basic knowledge of SQL for validating backend data.
? Agile/Scrum Methodology: Experience working in Agile teams using Scrum/Kanban frameworks.
? Attention to Detail: Ability to detect even the smallest UI/functional inconsistencies.
