What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Manage prior authorizations (PAs) and insurance verification tasks
• Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance payers through phone and email
• Verify patients’ insurance coverage efficiently
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients and insurance providers
• Ensure compliance with attendance policies
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in medical insurance, specifically with prior authorizations
• Experience with Medicare/Medicaid program administration
• Proficient in insurance verification and claim adjudication or medical billing
• Knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, or CPT is a significant advantage
• Must have a clean attendance record
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Additional experience in medical billing or coding
• Familiarity with healthcare software systems
• Strong problem-solving skills in a medical insurance context
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
