Position Overview: As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering personalized educational experiences for students with diverse needs. This is a flexible 1099 contractor position, allowing you to work from anywhere in North Carolina while making a difference in studentsÂ’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver engaging and effective virtual instruction tailored to each student’s learning style
• Collaborate with parents, educators, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment
• Assess student progress and modify instructional approaches as necessary
• Keep accurate records of student performance and communication
Qualifications:
• Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License
• Experience in special education and familiarity with IEP development
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfort with virtual teaching tools and online learning platforms
