Description:
• Provide peer support and a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients
• Actively listen to clients’ experiences and challenges
• Offer empathy, encouragement, and practical coping strategies
• Collaborate with clinical and counseling teams for client care
• Review client progress and provide ongoing support
• Continuously develop peer support skills through training
Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor Credential or ability to register within 60 days
• Specialized training from Washington State Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery
• Minimum one year experience with youth
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Ability to model appropriate behaviors in challenging situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage individual stress effectively
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Must be 21 years or older
