Description:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across the organization. Acting as a trusted advisor, the HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that reflect the strategic goals of Unilode.

This position requires a deep understanding of the CompanyÂ’s financial position, culture, midrange plans, and competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities and Mapped Competencies:

Strategic HR Partnership:

Business Insight, Collaborate
• Consult with line management to provide HR guidance and support.
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Provide guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with the HR team to identify opportunities for standardized HR systems and processes.

Employee Relations and Compliance:

Ensures Accountability, Courage
• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through effective investigations.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance, including coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and implement contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

Talent Management and Development:

Develop Talent, Customer Focus
• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
• Oversee the entire employee lifecycle and advise on recruitment, onboarding, training, and career development.
• Support international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.

Operational HR Excellence:

• Liaise with external partners, including legal firms, payroll providers, regulatory bodies, and training suppliers.
• Manage daily HR operations, such as payroll, benefits, immigration regulations, and compliance.
• Implement key HR initiatives in alignment with Unilode’s HR strategy.
• Support HR functions across other regions as needed.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience Required:

BachelorÂ’s degree in a relevant field; MasterÂ’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

Comprehensive knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.

Proven experience with payroll, benefits, and remuneration systems.

Strong understanding of employment law compliance and organizational structures.
