Make a difference in people’s lives today! Summary of Duties As a Project Business Analyst (Operations & Policy Analyst 2), you will: Facilitates various phases and activities of assigned projects. This includes the development of an approach, timelines, and the tasks involved. Assist with the planning, tracking, and reporting of program and project metrics as it pertains to the tasks and activities of the team. Participates in meetings with cross-functional teams to provide recommendations to facilitate organizational improvements. Create planning documentation on assigned areas of responsibility. Monitor project steps, activities and tasks and participation of project team members and other interested parties. Create project operational processes and templates for assigned areas of responsibility to facilitate clear, repeatable, and structured activity execution. Compile and analyze business needs and translate into business process, gap analysis, and uses cases documentation in support of other critical project activities. Identify and address gaps or process improvement in project operational processes and templates to continue refinement. Classify process changes by complexity and impact and prioritize to determine if they should be instituted prior to, or during implementation of the system. Collect, measure, and disseminate performance information, and assess measurements and trends to initiate process improvements. Compile and analyze data to draw conclusions and propose courses of action, provide updates to interested parties. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work. OR; Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification Essential Attributes We are looking for candidates with: Experience in Business Analysis related to public policy and business project planning, execution, reporting, and process redesign. Experience in consulting and facilitation methods. Communication strategy and planning experience with the ability to communicate detailed information to a diverse audience. Experience performing software testing. Attention to detail. Experience communicating clearly and cross culturally in writing, directly, or virtually at a level that each group can understand such as information technology developers, system end users, vendors, leadership, etc. Experience working independently with little direction in a high-volume workload environment. Experience prioritizing/organizing your workload including handling multiple tasks at one time with varying levels of complexity, seamlessly shifting between priorities, managing changing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
