SER is a processor and recycler of post-industrial and post-consumer polypropylene, serving a wide variety of markets and offering to its customers a flexible production, consistent high quality and technical support, satisfying different needs for colors, packaging and delivery. SER operates a state of the art facility in Anderson, IN since 2020 and expanded production in Salsomaggiore Terme, Italy that operates since 40 years.
SER is part of the Sirmax Group, which operates 13 manufacturing facility producing polypropylene, engineering plastics and thermoplastic elastomer compounds in Italy, Poland, Brazil, United States and India, for the automotive, appliance, power tools and packaging markets.
Operators for our Anderson, Indiana facility for start-up.
Applicant Requirements:
Must be a self-motivated individual, have a great attendance record, enjoy a fast-paced work environment. Candidate must be able to work overtime as required. Extrusion experience preferred but not necessary.
The candidates for this job will be expected to start on first, and could transition into another shift once we start having multiple shifts. So they could not end up on first shift.
PLASTIC RECYCLING OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
• Manage extruder and feeders.
• Read formulas and production orders.
• Start up the production line and the cutter.
• Visually check the product.
• Launch finished products into silo after approval of “Quality Control”.
• Operate plastic shredder and grinder
• Operate forklift.
• Weigh materials.
• Occasionally lift 50 pound bags.
• Unload finished products from silos in supersacks and relocate them with the forklift.
• Other duties as needed.
