What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Achieve and exceed annual revenue targets for the Southwest territory by expanding existing accounts and prospecting for new clients
– Generate new business aligned with market focus and operational capabilities
– Identify and secure sales opportunities through face-to-face meetings and virtual presentations
– Collaborate effectively across the organization to advance sales opportunities
– Mentor colleagues on the Inside Business Development team using personal experience

What is Required (Qualifications):
– Minimum of two years of bio/pharmaceutical sales or project management experience in the contract services sector
– Bachelor’s degree in sciences or an M.B.A. in marketing/business, or equivalent directly-related experience
– Based in Texas near an international airport with the ability to travel at least 40% of the time
– Strong scientific acumen with the capacity to learn new technical information
– Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– Experience selling for a service company in the bio/pharmaceutical sector, such as CDMO, CRO, or CTO
– Recent experience executing field travel and conducting in-person client meetings
– Self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a team environment
