Flexible schedules up to 40 hours weekly are available, Mon-Fri (including evenings until 7pm EST) and alternating Saturday mornings. Weekly schedules are consistent and full time work is guaranteed if desired.

About the Job
Medical Customer Service Agents provide customer service by making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls on a daily basis, notifying individuals of their outstanding account balances, assisting in finding funds to meet obligations and making arrangements for payment of those accounts in full. You will also provide efficient and accurate account updates on computer files for each call made.
In this job you will learn many important skills including communication, customer service, negotiating, medical terminology and more. You will receive hands-on experience in a cutting-edge training program covering basic collection skills as well as federal and state laws that impact this role.
Responsibilities
This position involves using a sales and motivational approach to help patients understand and pay their recent medical bills in full. You will use your knowledge to make decisions on when and what action should be taken, according to procedures, to collect accounts prior to being placed for collection. You will access, navigate, and interpret information within clients’ software whenever needed and update account notes with every call. You will frequently be required to navigate multiple systems during the course of a single phone call. A confident personality and excellent attendance combined with an interest in learning new technology will make job success likely.

• Must be able to pass credit and criminal background checks as well as drug screens
• Strong typing skills, PC skills and ability to type at least 30 wpm
• GED or high school diploma preferred
This position is subject to a background check for any convictions directly related to its duties and responsibilities. No felonies within the past 5 years are permissible. Credit must be currently clean with no bankruptcies in the past 2 years and collection accounts must be paid.
