A fast-growing company that is determined to revolutionize the life sciences industry by providing them with comprehensive information about leading innovators in their fields of expertise, is looking for a Natural Language Processing Developer. The selected candidate will be in charge of creating a procedure for feature extraction that effectively utilizes the data that is already available. The companyÂ’s ground-breaking technology effectively spots research areas that are ready for recruitment and strategic investment and uses them. This will be a part-time position.

Job Responsibilities:
• Create a process to integrate several text datasets together to produce research profiles
• Put together a timetable and cost estimate for AWS assets needed for the workflow
• Work with the data analyst for data preprocessing and feature extraction
• Implement the workflow and establish benchmarks to gauge progress and, if necessary, adjust the strategy
• Identify an approach for assessing the accuracy of researcher profiles
• Use dataset information in creative ways to support the linkage through feature extraction
• Give some unorthodox suggestions when putting forth and implementing a deep learning process that will outperform the typical probabilistic record linkage workflow
• Create a technique to evaluate the accuracy of each profile and use vast textual information to generate precise researcher profiles.
• Interact with the Technical Lead in charge of building and maintaining the corporate data lake
• Work closely with a data analyst in charge of cleaning and preparing the data

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Natural Language Processing developer
• Prior working experience with record-linking initiatives
• Knowledge and expertise in the development of suitable semantic similarity algorithms, including the ability to set benchmarks and modify strategy in reaction to newly discovered information
• Prior knowledge of ML and/or deep learning workflow design and implementation for record linkage projects
• Working knowledge of AWS environments
• Prior experience developing a mechanism to assess the correctness of existing datasets using deep learning procedures for text data
• Aptitude and readiness to interact and work together with the Technical Lead and the Data Analyst
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
