Description:
• Manages operational and logistical aspects of school produced sports television productions.
• Interprets, implements, and manages departmental standards for remote TV broadcasts.
• Coordinates event preparation and on-site communication for remote broadcasts.
• Provides guidance and training to Remote Operations staff.
• Ensures appropriate timelines for technical and financial planning are met.
• Facilitates troubleshooting of complex technical and operational issues on-site.
• Communicates event day concerns with Production, Operations, and school personnel.
• Attends industry events related to specific assignments.
• Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies for events.

Requirements:
• Requires regular travel to remote events.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the year in accordance with sport schedules.
• Has knowledge of organization, financial and logistics planning related to show creation.
• Working knowledge of differing production models, as well as signal flow, scalability, and transmission.
• Has knowledge of developments in equipment technology and procedures.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, including voice and email communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Has and applies strong knowledge of the technical equipment requirements of ESPN’s remote operations functions.
• Operates within the defined goals of the Remote Operations department.
• Maintains communication flow with peers in sharing best practices.
• Fluent in common computer-based software programs used for data compilation, information distribution and presentations.
