Job Information
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 Hrs. per week)
Caseload: Mild / Mod ASD and other spectrum disorders.
Class Size: Discuss in Interview
Location: Remote – Virtual

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver tailored academic instruction using evidence-based methods, such as multisensory learning techniques.
• Design individualized education programs to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and strategies.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to guide student behavior and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Maintain comprehensive records to meet local and federal compliance standards.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt curricula to support special education students.
• Administer assessments to help diagnose learning disabilities and monitor academic progress.
• Utilize a variety of instructional approaches to facilitate understanding of subject matter.
Qualifications:
• Experience in a school environment is preferred but not required
• Valid New Mexico state license
