Skills
• Advanced Excel Skills: Comfortable working with large datasets and using Excel at an intermediate to advanced level.
• GAAP Knowledge: A solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
• Preparing monthly financial statements.
• Managing bookkeeping, cash flow, and accounts receivable/payable.
• Monitoring and improving clients’ internal controls.
• Managing or assisting with the implementation of accounting systems and processes.
Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
• Background in public accounting is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and budgets effectively.
• CPA license or in the process of obtaining one is preferred, but not mandatory.
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
