What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
– Analyze revenue cycle data to identify performance improvement opportunities and suggest methods for enhancing operations
– Develop user requirements for Operational Analytics reporting tools, including their design, documentation, and implementation
– Support strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and optimized reporting
– Provide subject matter expertise in meetings and presentations to executive leadership
– Maintain project plans and ensure timely completion of all assigned projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
– Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, or a business-related field
– 7-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a physician billing or hospital environment
– Expert proficiency in SQL Server Management Studio and Microsoft Excel, including report development
– Strong project management skills with a focus on meeting project timelines
– Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and make proactive recommendations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
– MBA is highly preferred
– Experience with AthenaIDX and data science tools such as STATA, Python, or R
– Familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI
– Epic Clarity Certification in Clinical and/or Revenue Cycle modules
– Experience in Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies
