We believe you will be successful as a Senior IT Technician if you have:
• 5+ years of experience as a technician, troubleshooting and maintaining MS Windows platforms, ideally with an outsourced IT company.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2016 through 2022) in production environments, including Microsoft SQL.
• Skills in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Exchange Online and advanced Microsoft 365 features.
• Experience automating tasks through Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Worked in terminal server or VDI environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot wireless connectivity, including HP Aruba Instant On systems.
• Excellent documentation skills for ticketing systems.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Provide remote technical IT support to clients.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolution of tickets.
• Migrate clients from on-premises/hosting platforms to Azure hosting environments.
• Assist in transitioning from classic AD to Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), including joining endpoints to Entra ID.
• Monitor the RMM tool for alerts on managed equipment and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensure compliance with our backup standards and monitor the backup portal for failures or alerts.
• Follow and update maintenance checklists, documenting tasks, screenshots, outcomes, and time worked on tickets.
• Communicate effectively with the Customer Support desk and clients regarding assigned tickets and projects.
• Honor client confidentiality and safeguard their data and access.
• Maintain a positive working attitude and be relational with clients and teammates to facilitate high customer satisfaction.
Skills and Competencies You Need for Success:
• Strong communication skills, including documentation, end-user communication, and client interaction.
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities, able to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including effective time management, self-drive, and prioritization.
Technology You Should Be Familiar With:
• Microsoft Azure, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Microsoft 365 advanced functionalities (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Entra ID, Intune, Autopilot, Conditional Access Policies).
• Microsoft Windows Server (all versions).
• HP products (servers, workstations, laptops, switches).
• Remote access tools like N-Able Take Control, LogMeIn Rescue.
• Managed Services experience using N-Able Platform or similar RMM tools.
