Position Details:

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to accommodate students’ specific learning needs
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings, including inclusive classrooms and resource rooms
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for goals and services
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Active state SPED teaching certification
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and support staff
• Commitment to supporting student success and growth
