Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for a part-time remote position in Minnesota. In this role, you will deliver specialized instruction to support the learning and development of students with hearing impairments through virtual platforms.
Requirements:
• Active Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) license in the state of Minnesota.
• All local and state certification requirements must be met.
• Proficiency with technology platforms that support remote teaching and virtual learning environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and school staff.
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of students with hearing impairments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide remote instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Utilize assistive technology and online tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to support achievement.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Compensation:
