Reporting to a VP, Sales, the Amazon/E-Comm Account Manager is responsible for overseeing, leading, and monitoring the Amazon business for each of the Divisions. This includes both Seller and Vendor Central accounts. The Amazon & E-Comm Manager will be a lead contact for Advantus working with the different outside E-Commerce Reps and business partners including Digital Marketing Service… providers.
Responsibilities
• Collaborates with the Division Directors and VP, Sales to develop and implement the Amazon sales strategies.
• Work with Division to determine which items should be set up on Amazon and the appropriate platform.
• Review List Prices and make updates as necessary.
• Manages Customer Returns Analytics Reports (BEATS Program) including:
• Analyze performance of products, filter ASINs by return Rate, and review the top issues.
• Create an action plan to fix defects. Includes updating the detail page to more accurately reflect the product or make changes to the product to better meet customer expectations.
• Reviews “Opportunity/New Program” emails from Amazon to vet and determine potential pursuit of opportunity.
• Works with Division and Rise on promotions to run on Amazon (Prime Day) and with Sales Ops/Graphics to implement internally.
• Utilizes Helium 10 platform to measure success across enrolled Ecommerce accounts.
• Reviews Scorecards/ASIN Recommendations and works to determine changes needed to improve:
• o A+ content
• o Reviews
• o Videos
• o 4+ Images
• o 360 Images
• o 3+ Bullets
• o Relevant attributes
• o Dimensions
• Reviews and acts on recommendations through SIPP Portfolio & Opportunities Review.
• Monitors buy box performance and evaluate the competitive retail landscape on Amazon as well as other E-Comm sites
• Works with Divisions to manage the Vendor Central business as well as manage key third-party resellers
• Leads efforts to manage various key E-Comm sites like Walmart, Overstock, Wayfair, and others as needed based on the Division
• Serves as primary contact for assigned E-Comm customers for the Divisions
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities for penetrating existing customers with new products.
• Analyzes sales trends, buying habits, product mx, and other customer data to make proper product recommendations.
• Analyzes sales KPIs, growth/lost business, upsell opportunities and provides actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Coordinates with the Shared Services departments as necessary to execute Amazon and E-Comm objectives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience directly managing Amazon business
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with other E-Comm retail sites and 3rd party resellers
• Thorough understanding of SEM, Keyword strategies, and SEO content
• Experience working with Helium 10
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
• The ability to work in a team environment, prioritize work assignments and act independently to resolve potential conflicts
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
• Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
• Some travel required.
