### Job Description

As a Flight Attendant with American Airlines, you will ensure the safety and comfort of our passengers while maintaining the highest levels of customer service. This role requires a significant amount of flexibility and adaptability, as you will be travelling extensively, often involving overnight stays away from home.

### Key Responsibilities

– Conduct pre-flight cabin checks, safety briefings, and demonstration of safety equipment and procedures.

– Attend to passengers’ needs, including serving meals and beverages, and selling onboard products.

– Provide first aid and manage in-flight emergencies as required.

– Ensure compliance with all federal, airline, and airport regulations.

– Engage with passengers, build rapport, and respond to inquiries with a high level of professionalism.

### Requirements

– Must be at least 21 years old.

– Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.

– Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

– Able to attend and complete a rigorous training program.

– Ability to work in the U.S. and travel internationally without restrictions.

– Capable of lifting luggage up to 35lbs and reaching overhead storage compartments.

– Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights (on aircraft).

– Able to manage irregular work hours and be on call, including weekends and holidays.

### Educational Qualifications

– High school diploma or GED required.

– Higher education or relevant courses in hospitality, communication, or tourism are advantageous.

### Experience

– Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or airline industry is preferred but not required.

– Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and tact.
