Job Description
As an Application Support Specialist at TechSolutions Inc., you will be the primary point of contact for our customers experiencing technical issues or requiring assistance with our software applications. You will work closely with our development and customer service teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
Requirements
– Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in an application support role.
– Strong knowledge of software applications and troubleshooting methodologies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
– Experience with SQL and database management systems is a plus.
– Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
Responsibilities
– Provide technical support for our software applications via email, phone, and chat.
– Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
– Document and track customer issues using our ticketing system.
– Collaborate with the development team to escalate and resolve software defects.
– Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
– Create and update knowledge base articles to assist customers with common issues.
– Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed.
