What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, ensuring timely responses and adherence to telephone etiquette
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments across various clinics and departments
• Verify and update patient insurance information and demographic data
• Provide information about clinic services and address patient inquiries to resolve issues
• Assist in Health Information Systems (HIS) tasks and outreach projects
What Is Required (Qualifications)
• Completion of a high school certificate or equivalent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work variable evening shifts and hours
• Must be able to fluently speak, read, and write in English
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
• Prior telephonic customer service experience
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), Vietnamese, or Spanish
• Ability to maintain a positive environment while working with diverse cultures
