Job Title: CDL Driver – Hazmat and Tanker

Job Description:
As a CDL Driver with a Hazmat and Tanker endorsement, you will be driving and operating trucks that transport hazardous materials and liquid bulk commodities. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products, following all federal regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials, and maintaining professional interaction with our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
– Operate the truck in a safe and effective manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life
– Ensure all cargo is secured properly in compliance with safety regulations
– Follow all company policies and procedures, federal laws, and regulations
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to the supervisor
– Prepare, receive, and provide appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick-up of goods
– Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, or repair status, following applicable laws or regulations
Requirements:
– Valid CDL Class A drivers license
– Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
– Must be at least 21 years old
– Ability to pass a background check and drug test
– Clean driving record
Educational Qualifications:
– A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
– A minimum of one year of recent experience with Hazmat and Tanker operations is preferred.
