Role Description
This is a remote Co-Founder/Chief Technology Officer role. The Chief Technology Officer will oversee the company’s technological development and will be responsible for leading the technology team, driving innovation, and implementing new technologies to achieve business goals.
Qualifications
• Previous entrepreneurial experience with startups including raising capital and presenting the company vision to audiences with diverse backgrounds is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required, advanced degree preferred
• Act as functional lead and primary matter expert for designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, services, and DevOps processes
• Hands-on experience in backend development, frontend development, UX, web technologies, on-prem & cloud platforms, or data pipeline management. You must know how to code!
• Experience in healthcare interoperability technologies such as HL7 and FHIR APIs is required
• Knowledge of development concept such as RESTful APIs
• Experience with clinical data and Electronic Medical Records (e.g. EPIC, Cerner) in healthcare is required
• Experience integrating various healthcare applications with the electronic health record system is required
• Extensive experience developing and deploying cloud-based software using Azure or AWS
• Extensive experience with commercial software development tools
• Superb written and verbal communication skills including presenting to audiences with diverse backgrounds
