This is a full-time, year-round, regular appointment. Someone who is excited to learn about and respond to childrenÂ’s interests and strengths Someone who enjoys being part of a team and working collaboratively and who is ready to enthusiastically participate in school-wide inquiry and development Someone who believes children learn best through play and project-based emergent curriculum Someone who is enthusiastic to interact with children, families, and staff from a wide variety of backgrounds Qualifications: Passion for and knowledge of early education and care principles and developmentally appropriate practices A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with experience in an early care setting is preferred but not required Candidates must meet the teacher certification requirements established by the Department of Early Education and Care, or be able to obtain within 12 months with coursework covered by Williams Application review will begin October 15, 2024, and continue until the position is filled. Pay range is from $20 to $25, commensurate with experience. Williams provides full coverage of coursework for new hires seeking teacher certification. Prior to certification, your title would be Assistant Teacher, to be promoted to Teacher with a pay bump upon certification.
