United Trades of America is seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team for the cleanup and restoration efforts in the wake of recent natural disasters across Louisiana. As a **Disaster Relief Cleanup Worker**, you will play a critical role in helping communities recover from devastation. The role involves physical labor, working in sometimes hazardous conditions, and adhering to safety protocols.
• *Responsibilities:**
• Assist with debris removal, cleaning, and disposal from disaster-stricken areas.
• Help clear and prepare properties for rebuilding efforts.
• Remove damaged materials, including furniture, appliances, and construction debris.
• Support specialized teams with site preparation and restoration activities.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with team leaders and other volunteers to efficiently complete tasks.
• Operate tools and equipment as necessary (e.g., chainsaws, heavy equipment).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• *Requirements:**
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
• Prior experience in disaster cleanup or construction is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
